This was the motto behind these sacks when they were produced in the 30&#8217;s, 40&#8217;s &amp; 50&#8217;s. Some sacks were designed so that they could be washed &amp; the ink removed, leaving plain colored fabric for housewives to re-use. Others like this one actually had pre-stamped patterns on the back for cross-stich, pot-holders, aprons, or in this case embroidery!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This fantastic feedsack came to me in pieces, the front is a &#8220;KING OF THE WEST&#8221; flour sack &amp; the back The back has two children&#8217;s quilt blocks, both the same &#8211; a mother rabbit carries a basket of food home with umbrella over her shoulder. One bunny had been completed, the other was about 3\/4 of the way done so I finished it.
